Bob Hale
FAIA, Principal
With over thirty years of diverse design, planning and management experience within the context of highly visible and critically acclaimed architecture, Bob Hale has distinguished his career by providing leadership for uniquely creative collaborations. His areas of expertise include all facets of the design process from strategic project planning and programming to construction, as well as overall project leadership and managing client relations. He has extensive experience in architectural, urban and interior design, master planning, and with corporate, entertainment, retail, cultural, hospitality, residential and commercial project types.
Bob joined Rios Associates in 2001 as a Principal, having worked collaboratively with the office on numerous projects during the previous ten years. In 2003 the firm changed its name to Rios Clementi Hale Studios to recognize the new leadership of the firm.
From 1981 to 1993, Bob was with Frank O. Gehry Associates, where he was a Principal and led the development of many of Frank Gehry's award winning projects. He was with Universal Studios for seven years after that, where he worked as a creative director and was Vice-President of Design and Planning. Bob received a Bachelor of Architecture from Tulane University and his Master of Architecture from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Bob has worked on Westfield Century City, Nokia Plaza at LA Live, NBC Universal Evolution Plan and The Greening of Century City .
