Marketing Coordinator or Senior Marketing Coordinator

Rios Clementi Hale Studios (RCHS) seeks a mid-level Marketing Coordinator or Senior Marketing Coordinator with 4-6+ years of experience in the A/E/C industry. RCHS is a multi-disciplinary design firm with professionals in architecture, landscape architecture, urban planning and design, interior design, graphics and signage, and exhibit and product design. Project types include commercial, residential, civic, educational, institutional, product, and furniture design.

The successful candidate will have experience with the mechanics of securing work in the A/E/C industry (i.e. the RFQ/RFP process), will have an operable knowledge of current graphic layout software, and have proficient grammar and writing skills to aid in the writing, design, and production of the firm’s promotional efforts, including reactive and proactive marketing, proactive business development, lecture presentations, award submissions, social media, etc. The position requires the ability to communicate effectively and collaborate in a multi- and trans-disciplinary environment. The candidate will work with the office’s Marketing Director, the Partner’s Executive Assistant, and our graphic design team in a fast-paced atmosphere, and must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Thoughtful preparation, coordination, and production of qualifications packages, proposals, presentation materials, and competition pre-qualification entries
  • Contact and coordinate information needed from sub-consultant and partner firms for teaming purposes
  • Preparation and maintenance of firm collateral such as project sheets, resumes, publication lists, etc.
  • Keep track of and maintain promotional supplies via coordination with office administration, graphics team, maintain necessary inventory of stock by placing and fulfilling orders and verifying receipt
  • Work with other members of the marketing team and design staff to maintain databases of electronic text and graphic material
  • Preparation of or assistance in preparation of lecture presentations
  • Work with Marketing Director to re-design and re-define firm wide contact database
  • Input, edit, and maintain proposal and client contact information using the Deltek Vision CRM system
  • Assist in research of target markets and clients as needed
  • Manage project award submittals
  • Coordination with our Public Relations team as needed
  • Participate in industry and corporate events
  • Participate in firm’s social media efforts using Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram
  • Know when and how to update firm’s website with new and/or improved content
  • Work with our staff writer as needed to assist in creation of timely and topical blog posts, project descriptions, web content, etc.
  • Implement key portions of all or some marketing campaigns and events
  • Brainstorm ways to use new technology the office is working with including drones, virtual reality, and video production

Qualifications we will consider include:

  • 4-6 years of experience in a similar position, preferably for an A/E/C company or within a professional services firm
  • Four year accredited degree (or 5+ years in a similar position)
  • Strong initiative and critical thinking skills
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and time management skills
  • Superb writing, grammar, verbal communication, graphic, and production skills
  • Demonstrated proposal writing
  • Mid to high-level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite
  • Knowledge of Deltek Vision CRM a plus, or experience using a similar CRM software system

Experienced Environmental/Graphic Designer

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual who is willing to take responsibility and multi-task in a creative, deadline-driven environment, and who is interested in growing with our team.

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Graphics, Industrial Design, or Architecture from an accredited school and have a range of 5+ years of professional experience in the design and construction of signage. Candidates will be evaluated on design portfolio and construction and presentation documentation experience.

Human Resource Assistant

The title of Human Resource Assistant is a person who supports human resources processes by administering tests; scheduling appointments; conducting orientation; handle payroll matters; and confidentially maintaining records and information. It is Rios Clementi Hale Studios’ expectation that the Human Resource Assistant will confidentially handle all employment and payroll matters and promote the RCHS policies, procedures, and culture, and maintain high morale.

The title requires either a bachelor’s degree or an associate’s degree and five years experience handling human resource matters or payroll. A Human Resource Assistant is expected to be familiar with California Labor and Employment laws. Human Resource Assistants must be making significant progress towards obtaining a Society of Human Resource Management Certificate or a Professional in Human Resources Certificate. Human Resource Assistants are expected to take limited instruction, perform their work with a high level of professionalism, and ask questions.

A Human Resource Assistant is responsible for a wide variety of tasks including, but not limited to, the following:

  • Welcoming new employees to the organization by conducting orientation;
  • Preparing new employee files;
  • Providing payroll information by collecting time and attendance records;
  • Submitting employee data reports by assembling, preparing, and analyzing data;
  • Maintaining employee information by entering and updating employment and status-change data;
  • Providing secretarial support by entering, formatting, and printing information; organizing work;
  • Answering the telephone, relaying messages; maintaining equipment and supplies;
  • Maintaining strict employee confidence and protecting operations by keeping human resource information confidential;

Mid-Level Landscape Designer or Landscape Architect
We are seeking a full-time mid-level landscape designer or landscape architect who is committed to the creation and development of outstanding design from concept through execution. The candidate must possess:

  • 3-6 years of  landscape architectural design experience through all phases of design and documents
  • Interest and experience in residential landscape and estate garden design
  • Strong design/organizational skills and a passion for creativity
  • A high degree of self-motivation, flexibility, and resourcefulness
  • Knowledge of planting design, materials, and technical aspects of landscape architecture
  • Construction documents and specification experience
  • Construction administration experience, as well as experience coordinating with a range of consultants including civil, electrical, and structural engineers
  • Proficiency with Autocad is required, Revit experience is a plus
  • Strong presentation skills, including proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Sketch-Up. Rhinoceros modeling is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills

Interior Designer
We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual who will to take on project responsibilities and multi-task in a creative, deadline-driven environment, and who can grow with our team. Candidates should possess a 4-year college degree specializing in Interior Design/Environmental Design/Architecture from an accredited school, and a minimum of 3 years of professional experience working in Interior Design. You should have experience with:

  • Drafting interior elevations, cabinetry, and furnishings
  • Interfacing with dealers and vendors
  • Coordinating purchasing and budget reconciliation
  • Material, furniture, and plumbing fixture research
  • Research of new products
  • Preparing presentation materials and full FF&E packages
  • Assist with budget preparation and site installations
  • Required computer skills include AutoCAD and SketchUp, Microsoft Office, Adobe CS (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Familiarity with Studio Design software is a plus
  • Design skills include: a strong sense of color color and composition, some knowledge of textiles, furnishings, and LA showrooms, exposure to commercial and residential FF&E
  • Some knowledge of building codes, LEED, and accessibility regulations
